What he is trying to hasten is not the return of Jesus, but the construction of the 3rd Temple and the arrival of the Jewish messiahAnd there's a significant difference... Again, this confirms it. the sequence of links provided by our anonymous contributor.
As the Trump administration continues to grapple with the fallout from betraying its fundamental campaign promise to abandon the cycle of endless wars in the Middle East that have marred U.S. history since the beginning of the new millennium, the American public is not the only target of the propaganda it has deployed in a misguided attempt to save face. The administration adopted the same tactic in the hope of brainwashing its military into rallying support for Trump's war in Iran. Instead of political rhetoric, propaganda aimed at American troops relies on a darker messianic message that underlines the hidden motives behind the conflict.
According to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), a nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to protecting the religious freedoms of enlisted personnel, U.S. military commanders are accused of telling troops that Trump's war in Iran is designed to be the apocalyptic catalyst that will bring about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The MRFF says it has received more than 100 complaints from soldiers in 40 different units across 30 different military locations, alleging this. One complaint filed with the MRFF by a non-commissioned officer summarizes the nature of these allegations, detailing how their combat unit commander claimed that Trump had was "anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran in order to bring about Armageddon and mark his return to Earth."
The complaint goes on to state that "[the commander] urged us to tell our troops that this was all part of God's divine plan, and he specifically referred to numerous quotes from the Book of Revelation referring to Armageddon and the imminent return of Jesus Christ."

Faced with the number of complaints filed with the MRFF by American military personnel, A White House official denied the accusation that commanders invoked apocalyptic prophecies to garner support for Operation Epic Fury. Instead, the White House official responded by reiterating the Trump administration's objectives: to destroy Iran's ballistic missile program, its munitions industry, and its navy. Pentagon officials did not respond to requests for comment regarding the complaints filed with the MRFF.
Despite the White House's rejection of the accusations contained in the complaints filed with the MRFF, the remarks of the watchdog's chairman confirmed their veracity. MRFF President Mikey Weinstein, a former US Air Force officer, said that the 110 complaints received by his organization all repeated the same argument justifying the war against Iran as being "sanctioned by the Bible." After leaving the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Weinstein served as White House counsel under Reagan, having been appointed to the Office of Management and Budget. He was later appointed to lead the Iran-Contra affair committee as deputy legal counsel in the White House administrative office. After leaving the Reagan administration, Mr. Weinstein entered the private sector, where he served as the first legal counsel to two-time presidential candidate Ross Perot and Perot Systems Corporation, before leaving that position in 2006 to focus on the MRFF, which he founded that same year.
The eschatological rhetoric that American commanders are accused of imposing on troops in complaints to the Military Revolutionary Foundation (MRFF) follows the ominous tone instilled by senior officials in the Department of Defense. No official has been more virulent in this rhetoric than Secretary of Defense Hegseth, who has long echoed the views of conservative theologian Douglas Wilson in advocating the restoration of guiding principles rooted in Christianity for American governance and society. However, like most members of the Trump administration, Hegseth's version of Christianity is perverted by the contradictory belief in "Judeo-Christianity." This corruption of Hegseth's "Christian" worldview is highlighted by remarks he made in 2018 during a speech at the Arutz Sheva Conference at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. In his address, Hegseth called the first Trump administration's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel a miracle. Hegseth then proclaimed that "there is no reason why the miracle of rebuilding the temple on the Temple Mount should not be possible," before adding that “a step in this process, a step in any process, is to recognize that the facts and activities on the ground really do matter.” Years later, after being appointed Secretary of Defense in the second Trump administration, Hegseth now seems to be realizing this vision by leading the American assault on Iran.

Christian leaders aligned with the Trump administration also amplified the message that the war with Iran is a sign of the coming Apocalypse, in an effort to garner support for the conflict. Pastor John Hagee, of a megachurch in Texas, who frequently visited the White House during Trump's first term, addressed his congregation the day after Operation Epic Fury began. Hagee said that President Trump "had tried in vain to reach a peaceful solution with Iran" during his sermon, which was full of political arguments designed to garner support for the war. Le website Hagee Ministries reiterated the position expressed during the sermon, stating:
"God bless our forces in the Middle East for their brilliant execution of Operation Epic Fury! This orchestrated war against America began in 1979 with the storming of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, where 52 Americans were held hostage for 444 days. Will this recent operation bring lasting peace to the innocent in Iran? What does God have in store for those who threaten peace in Jerusalem?" The events currently unfolding are fulfilling the prophecy. Do you pray every day, asking God to intervene on your behalf? There has never been a more crucial time to pray!
During his sermon, Hagee did not limit his message to the idea that God is using Trump to wage war against Iran alone. He also extended this plan to Russia. Given that his sermons are used as a tool to encourage support for American foreign policy, this subtle remark could foreshadow an even more serious conflict to come.

Paula White, televangelist and spiritual advisor to President Trump, took up her post as senior adviser to the White House Office of Faith on February 7, 2025. She previously held a similar position as special adviser to the White House Office of Faith and Neighborhood Partnerships during Trump's first term, from May 3, 2018 to January 20, 2021. Since her reinstatement in the second Trump administration, Ms. White has been the subject of particular public attention because of her radical evangelical messages calling on Christians to support Israel. The open and excessive pro-Israel messages of Trump-aligned religious leaders, such as Hagee and White, have amplified concerns that the Trump administration has structured itself to favor Zionist interests over those of the United States, an assertion that has never been more prevalent than in criticisms of its foreign policy.
Despite their efforts to dispel the notion that the United States engaged in Operation Epic Fury at Israel's behest, Trump administration officials only reinforced this belief. At a press conference on March 2, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio admitted, "We knew there would be Israeli action," explaining the calculations that motivated the Trump administration's decision to begin bombing Iran. Virginia Senator Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee and a member of the Gang of Eight (a group comprising the chairpersons of the House and Senate intelligence committees, whom the administration is required to brief on intelligence operations), echoed Secretary Rubio's assessment, stating, "There was no imminent threat to the United States from the Iranians. There was a threat to Israel. If we equate a threat to Israel with an imminent threat to the United States, then we are venturing into uncharted territory." »

While the remarks of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Senator Mark Warner illustrate the Israeli interests underlying the war against Iran, Secretary Hegseth's 2018 speech reveals a deeper motivation that extends far beyond the political sphere, exposing the esoteric forces that ultimately shape it to their liking. Hegseth's 2018 remarks center on the sacred principle of building the Third Temple, central to Jewish eschatology. Furthermore, they underscore how the version of "Christian" nationalism shamelessly championed by members of the Trump administration like himself and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee is nothing more than a means of further entrenching Zionism as the driving force of American policy. The complaints filed with the MRFF reveal the extent to which this influence corrupted the Trump administration, erasing any doubt that its decision to wage war on Iran was not a religious mission inspired by a Christian concept of God. Rather, it was a decision made at the behest of its masters in Israel, whom the Trump administration, as its actions demonstrate, has come to venerate more than Christ.
