The perspective of a pure-blooded American is always interesting; I hope that with this divorce (now that they've plundered everything with Macron), The United States' stranglehold on our country is shattered, but, given the potential of the NSA, the CIA, Big Tech, Financeand the origins of theEuropean Union (which in 50 years have infiltrated all levels of our country), nothing is less certain. In any case, things are moving forward.

Even though many centrists and libertarians oppose Donald Trump's current strikes against Iran, I must say that the end result may well be one of the most libertarian I have ever seen. For decades, advocates of a smaller government, like those in the Ron Paul movement, have called for a complete break between the United States and NATO and the closure of American military bases abroad. Trump has, deliberately or inadvertently, set this process in motion.
The refusal of most European countries (and Australia) to support the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz could be seen as a geopolitical maneuver—in other words, getting involved could do them more harm than good. Of course, these nations are far more exposed to the closure of Hormuz and the resulting slowdown in energy exports than the United States. One might think that their interests would require securing the strait.
Europe is already struggling to secure energy resources because of the war in Ukraine (a war in which it is deeply involved), and this is where we encounter an ideological disconnect.
Europe's objective is World War III, and it expects the United States to maintain the status quo.
The Europeans are quite willing to engage in armed conflict with Russia, risking energy inflation and World War III, all for a country that held minimal strategic or economic importance for them before the conflict. They have consistently called on the United States to provide arms, funds, and intelligence to the Ukrainians, which we have done. And they have requested that American troops be on the front lines should a wider war break out.
NATO and European governments like America… but only as a shield that benefits them. To be clear, it is true that years ago, NATO allies committed troops and equipment to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, but one could also argue that at the time, the establishment was on the same page on both sides of the Atlantic.
There was no large-scale movement to end foreign aid scams (like Trump shutting down USAID). There was no movement to secure borders and stop mass immigration. There was no movement against globalism beyond a handful of us in the alternative media, working diligently to uncover the truth. In the early 2000s, the status quo was fully in place, and Europe was happy to provide aid to the Middle East.
Today? Not really. The status quo has been turned upside down.
Once the money stopped flowing, our "friends" became scarce.
It's not surprising that once the money stopped flowing so easily from American pockets, all our "allies" suddenly turned their backs on us. The cuts to USAID and various foreign grant programs sent shockwaves through the world order. Even I was astonished by the level of dependence foreign nations had on American monetary injections.
As soon as these programs began to be eliminated, panic was palpable. And as soon as Trump demanded that NATO countries start paying their fair share (5% of GDP), the breakdown in relations began. Many European social welfare programs exist precisely because they don't have to pay for their own military defense.
Tariffs are another point of hypocrisy. Almost every major European country and economy has imposed tariffs and taxes on American goods over the past 60 years. When these same countries face tariffs imposed by the United States, they suddenly become an "act of aggression" and a red line that cannot be crossed.
Trump is being called a "bull in a china shop" economically, but he's simply returning the favor after what they've put us through for generations. Once again, as soon as the status quo changes even slightly and other nations are subjected to similar standards, our friends no longer want to be our friends.
Europe's top priority is the multicultural agenda.
And what about mass immigration? Ah, now that's the real bone of contention. Europe has become ground zero of a multicultural scourge, and EU governments are quite willing to sacrifice their own predominantly white, native population to crime, terrorism, and cultural erasure in the name of a woke utopia. As soon as the United States challenged this ideological suicide and took steps against open borders, European elites became hostile.
Europe is so furious at any opposition to multiculturalism that it has enacted a series of Orwellian censorship laws. Tens of thousands of people are arrested and charged each year with "hate crimes," which usually consist of simple criticism of open immigration. These are not governments with which we can share our bread.
I want to emphasize that there are millions of people in the EU and the UK fighting against globalism in the political arena. Their movements are growing rapidly, from the Restore party in Britain to the National Rally in France and the AfD in Germany. They don't necessarily agree with American conservatives on everything, but they are the only political groups worth allying with in Europe today. They are all gaining ground, but not fast enough.
Perhaps a separation from the United States will actually help to accelerate the process? Because it is simply impossible for Americans to remain allied with European liberal elites who want to see Western culture and national borders destroyed. We are not just at an impasse of principle; we are rapidly becoming mortal enemies.
Trump's recent call for NATO support in the Strait of Hormuz has highlighted a level of hypocrisy within the organization that many libertarians and conservatives have criticized for years. NATO is only NATO as long as America is the dupe, making the bulk of the sacrifices.
Keep in mind that nothing liberal governments do is based on principles. A war with Russia in Ukraine? Europe applauds and demands massive US involvement. Sending a few ships to reopen a vital sea lane in the Middle East? Suddenly, they have moral qualms.
Why? There are many reasons, but I would say that a major shift is underway: an organized transition from the old world order to the "new world order." A "multicultural alliance" (a globalist system) is being built behind the scenes, which is more important to European elites than their relations with the United States. And conservative movements are the enemies of this new multicultural system.
The Muslim population in Europe currently stands at 62 million – a figure that has doubled in the last 20 years. An additional 47 million migrants from the developing world live in the region. Mass immigration has irreversibly changed Europe. Ultimately, this social engineering experiment aims to eradicate Western civilization, and this is THE BATTLE for which leftists and globalists are prepared to die. Their entire vision of the future depends on it..
NATO governments are avoiding involvement in Iran. not because of a deep moral and principled stance, but because most European nations are saturated with immigrants from the third world who will turn against them if they enter into war in any way.
In my post "Britain is proof of this: globalists plan to use migrants as an army of mercenaries against the West.", published in 2024, I detailed the theory that European governments (and the Biden administration in the United States) filled their borders with men of military age from the Third World so that they would act as a foreign mercenary army, secretly deployed to subdue Western populations should they rise up against the globalists..
European governments, and by extension most NATO members, support this plan. That's why a war against Russia is acceptable, but not against Iran. It's also why I don't believe the conspiracy theory that the Israelis are at the top of the pyramid, "controlling everything" behind the scenes. If that were the case, the European and NATO elites would have immediately joined the war effort against Iran.
There is an ongoing agenda that is FAR larger than the tiny nation of Israel or the fringe ideology of 'Zionism'.
The breakup is inevitable
The latest conflict is rapidly leading to a breakdown of NATO, a topic the Trump administration has addressed repeatedly. Having been denied access to its airspace by several EU countries, the United States may seriously consider closing its military bases in the region, withdrawing its nuclear weapons, and leaving Europe in a difficult position.
But this international divorce is not about Iran, Israel, the Strait of Hormuz, or even oil. It is the result of a long-standing ideological conflict that is about to reach its climax.
One could argue that this will isolate the United States from its allies and weaken our position in the world. I would argue instead that it is our so-called "allies" who have weakened us, and that this separation should have happened long ago. The billions and billions of dollars the United States spends each year on European security could be used to reduce our debt here at home. Libertarians should rejoice if Trump were to implement this policy.
Furthermore, with the withdrawal of US aid to NATO and the EU, it will be much more difficult for progressive authoritarian leaders to maintain control over their respective populations (no more easy social programs). Their reliance on a Third World invasion to subjugate Western citizens could very well be their downfall. Everything will depend on the nationalists' response (and I think they will respond).
There is a possible end scenario here, in which European and American conservatives would eventually join forces, but we are not there yet. The geopolitical interdependence of the Cold War model will have to disappear. NATO was supposedly created to counterbalance the hostile global ambitions of communism, but today, it is the European and NATO governments that ARE the hostile communists.
There is no reason for our alliance to continue any longer.
