Asked about her lack of activity in Brussels and Strasbourg since her re-election to the European Parliament in 2009, Marine Le Pen has once again demonstrated her talents as "victim of the system".

“I am present at all sessions of Parliament”, she first retorted, before claiming to be "a deputy...because [she has] no right to table amendments". So who is to blame ? Does the Parliament reduce it to the bench or Marine talks to us?

Unlike her father in the past, Marine Le Pen has not managed to join forces with 24 other European parliamentarians representing 25% of EU member states to create a political group.

Not registered, she cannot therefore table an amendment in plenary session... but has the right, like any deputy, to present an amendment during the first reading of the text in committee.

Moreover, if the MEP can hardly be rapporteur for a text (it is necessary to gather the majority of the elected members of the commission in charge of the report), she can ask parliamentary questions, which she has done four times since 2004!

With 122 days of presence in three years, the daughter of the founder of the FN ranks 742^e out of 754 MEPs!

And if she prides herself on being present "at all sessions", she forgets to specify that she is obliged to do so if she wants to receive all of her allowance for general expenses (nearly 4300 euros per month).
