While lawyers fight among themselves whether or not to stop the course of justice. Well ! It is still taking its course, slowly but surely. Thus prosecutor Philippe Courroye, who has still not appointed a judge, should ask to hear Eric Woerth again, which is a step in the right direction. But will he have the courage to go as far as an indictment for "influence peddling"? Nothing is less sure.
And now we're talking about the Bettencourt affair, after a few weeks of media lull due to holidays and expulsions of Roma…
Eric Woerth, the Minister of Labor could be heard again in the Bettencourt affair.
This is the site of the weekly Le Point which reveals this future summons before the justice of the Minister of Labor.
Philippe Courroye, the public prosecutor of Nanterre should ask the Council of Ministers for a new authorization to question Eric Woerth on his relations with Patrice de Maistre.
The latter being the manager of the fortune of the billionaire Liliane Bettencourt but also the ex-employer of Florence Woerth, the wife of the ex-Minister of the Budget.
Eric Woerth has already been heard on July 29 by the financial brigade in this Bettencourt case.
According to Le Point, the Nanterre prosecutor would like to personally question the Minister of Labour.
A hearing, recalls Le Figaro, which will be part of the course of the preliminary investigation opened on the suspicion of "influence peddling" following the discovery of the "clandestine" recordings of Liliane Bettencourt's butler.
