To seize: a prototype of land jet of Steve Fosset

Steve Fosset was definitely a hell of a guy. With his tragic passing, he leaves this orphan land jet, which is for sale for the modest sum of 3 million €uros. If you want to go buy cigarettes at the speed of light, the latter is traveling at 1448 km/h, it would be nice on a motorway slip road!

Man of challenges, the American Steve Fossett

tragically lost his life during one of his last adventures. It was in 2007 when his plane crashed when he stealing
above the Nevada desert. Among these fads, the adventurer touches everything

had also set itself the objective of beating the speed record with a land vehicle. Obviously this adventure came to an abrupt end when he died. This prototype is now for sale.

A simulated jet that can circulate at high speed on the earth's surface, this prototype called “Spirit of America – Sonic Arrow” is a monster equipped with a General Electric J-79 reactor.

If the project had been completed, Steve Fossett and his team of engineers aimed to reach a top speed of 900 mph, or a whopping 1 km/h (we'll spare you the decimals). Yes, this monster had to offer at its final stage of development a better weight/power ratio than a fighter plane. The Sonic Arrow is for sale here at a starting price of 3 million euros. Ideal for descending at high speed on the Côte d'Azur for a weekend.
