Ideological exaltation can lead to all kinds of crimes, and individual heroism and serial murder belong to all human societies. These kinds of passions have always contributed to building the history of humanity through its wars, its revolutions, its counter-revolutions. One cannot therefore be surprised that a gunner, a suicide bomber or a martyr commit acts whose political results will be exactly opposite to those they claim to seek, because these individuals are not the ones who negotiate on the arms market, organize conspiracies, meticulously carry out covert operations without making themselves known or apprehended before the hour of the crime.

Although it wants to give the appearance of it, terrorist action does not choose its periods of activity at random, nor its victims according to its good pleasure. We inevitably observe a peripheral stratum of petty terrorists, whose faith or desire for revenge it is always easy to manipulate, and who is, momentarily, tolerated as a breeding ground in which one can always fish at the command of a few culprits to show on a plateau: but the decisive “strike force” of central interventions can only be made up of professionals; what confirms every detail of their style.

The proclaimed incompetence of the police and the intelligence services, their recurring mea culpa, the reasons invoked for their failures, based on the dramatic insufficiency of funds or coordination, should not convince anyone: the first and most obvious of an intelligence service is to make it known that it does not exist or, at least, that it is very incompetent, and that there is no reason to take into account its completely secondary existence . However, these services are better equipped technically today than they have ever been.

Any individual known to be an enemy of the social or political organization of his country, and, even more so, any group of individuals forced to declare themselves in this category is known to several intelligence services. Such groups are constantly under surveillance. Their internal and external communications are known. They are quickly infiltrated by one or more agents, sometimes at the highest decision-making level, and in this case easily manipulated. This kind of surveillance implies that any terrorist attack has at least been permitted by the services in charge of the surveillance of the group claiming it, sometimes even facilitated or assisted technically when its execution requires means beyond the reach of the terrorists, or even frankly decided and organized by these services themselves. Such complacency here is quite logical, given the political effects and foreseeable reactions of these criminal attacks.

The last century, the history of terrorism has shown that it is always a question, for a political faction, of manipulating terrorist groups with a view to provoking an advantageous reversal of public opinion, the aim of which may be to strengthen police to counter social unrest, present or foreseeable, or to trigger an offensive military operation, and its attendant economic interests, which the majority of the nation opposes.

Germany 1933: Hitler

On January 30, 1933, Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany and Chief Executive. However, two potential adversaries are still in front of him: the Reichstag, which votes the laws, adopts the budget and decides on the war, as well as the German Communist Party, which, in the economic slump of the time, could rise unexpectedly and constitute a dangerous competitor. On February 22, Goering, then President of the Reichstag, assigned to the SD (Sicherheitsdienst: Security Intelligence Service) auxiliary police functions. On the 23rd, the police searched the headquarters of the Communist Party and “discovered” there a plan for an armed insurrection with the taking of hostages, multiple attacks and collective poisonings. On February 27, a leftist militant entered the Reichstag without difficulty and, with a few matches, caused a fire there. The fire spreads so quickly that the building is destroyed. All the experts, technicians and firefighters testified that such a fire could not be the work of a single man. Well after the war, former Nazis will confirm the role of the SD in this attack. The day after the fire, several thousand elected officials and communist activists were arrested, the state of emergency declared, the communist party banned. Fifteen days later the Nazis won the elections to the Reichstag, Hitler obtained full powers and, from July 1933, banned all other parties.

Italy 1970: the Red Brigades

During the seventies, Italy was on the verge of a social revolution. Strikes, occupations of factories, sabotage of production, questioning of social organization and of the State itself no longer seemed to be able to be suppressed by the usual methods of propaganda and police force. It was then that terrorist attacks, intended to cause numerous victims and attributed to a “revolutionary” group, the Red Brigades, came to upset Italian public opinion. Popular emotion allowed the government to take various legislative and police measures: freedoms were suppressed without resistance, and many people, among the most active in the revolutionary movement, were arrested: social unrest was finally under control. Today, the courts themselves recognize that the CIA was involved, as well as the Italian secret services, and that the state was behind these terrorist acts.

USA 1995: Timothy McVeigh

On April 19, 1995, a veteran of the first Gulf War, Timothy McVeigh, threw a truck loaded with fertilizer and gasoline at an FBI building in Oklahoma City. The building collapses and kills one hundred and sixty-eight people. During the investigation, McVeigh said he was outraged by the FBI's assault two years earlier on an Adventist cult in Wacco, Texas. Assault during which more than eighty members of the sect perished, including twenty-seven children. Revolted by this crime, Mc Veigh had therefore gone to war, alone, against the FBI. And at the end of his widely publicized trial, he was executed, alone, by a lethal injection, in front of American cameras.

After the attack, 58% of Americans agreed to give up some of their freedom in order to block terrorism. And in the popular effervescence maintained by the media, President Clinton had to sign the appalling Anti-Terrorism Act authorizing the police to commit multiple violations of the American Constitution.

In view of the devastation caused by the attack, Samuel Cohen, the father of the neutron bomb, said: " It is absolutely impossible, and against the laws of physics, for a simple truck full of fertilizer and gasoline to collapse this building.. “Two Pentagon experts had even come to specify that this destruction had been “ caused by five separate bombs », and had concluded that the role of McVeigh in this attack was that of « the idiot on duty ».

During his trial, Mc Veigh admitted to having been approached by members of a " special force group involved in criminal activities ". The FBI did not find them or look for them. But in this case, the federal police withheld so much information from the courts that during the investigation, former Senator Danforth threatened the director of the FBI with a search warrant, a warrant which he did not could unfortunately get. The writer Gore Vidal affirms, in his book The end of freedom: towards a new totalitarianism, without hesitation: There is overwhelming evidence that there was a conspiracy involving militias and undercover government agents to get Clinton to sign the Antiterrorism Act. ».

The world situation requires the continual opening of new markets and requires finding the energy necessary to operate the constantly growing industrial production. The immense reserves of the Arab countries, and the possibility of appropriating them, of channeling this energy through controlled areas, are now the subject of conflicts between the USA, determined to establish their hegemony, and the other countries of Europe. and from Asia. Seizing such reserves at the expense of the rest of the world requires absolute military supremacy and first of all a considerable increase in the defense budget. Measures that the American population was, a few years ago, in no way disposed to endorse. On January 11, 2001, the Rumsfeld commission mentioned that a " new Pearl Harbor will be the event that will pull the nation out of its lethargy and spur the US government to action.»

The American intelligence services, which claimed to know nothing about the September 11 attack, were so well informed in the hours that followed that they could name those responsible, distribute reports of telephone communications, card numbers credit, and even unexpectedly find the intact passport of one of the terrorist pilots in the smoking ruins of the two towers, thus making it possible to identify him and his alleged accomplices. The version of the American authorities, aggravated rather than improved by a hundred successive alterations, and which all commentators have made a point of admitting in public, was not for a single moment believable. Her intention was not to be believed, but to be the only one in the window.

Power has become so mysterious that after this attack, one could wonder who really commanded in the United States, the strongest power in the so-called democratic world. And so, by extension, one can also ask who can command the democratic world?

Democracy: State and Mafia

The society which promises to be democratic seems to be accepted everywhere as being the realization of a fragile perfection. So that it should no longer be exposed to attacks, since it is fragile; and moreover is no longer open to attack, since society is perfect as never before. This so perfect democracy itself manufactures its inconceivable enemy: terrorism. The history of terrorism is written by the state, so it is educational. The people certainly cannot know who is hiding behind terrorism, but they can always know enough to be persuaded that, in relation to this terrorism, everything else will have to seem to them rather acceptable, in any case more rational and more democratic.

We make a mistake every time we want to explain something by opposing the Mafia to the State: they are never in rivalry. Theory effectively verifies what all the rumors of practical life had too easily shown. The Mafia is no stranger to this world; it is perfectly at home there, in fact it reigns as the perfect model of all advanced commercial enterprises.

The Mafia appeared in Sicily at the beginning of the XNUMXth century, with the rise of modern capitalism. To impose its power, it had to brutally convince the populations to accept its protection and its occult government in exchange for their submission, that is to say a system of direct and indirect taxation (on all commercial transactions) to finance its operation and expansion. For this, it systematically organized and carried out terrorist attacks against individuals and companies that refused its guardianship and its justice. It was therefore the same pharmacy that organized protection against attacks and attacks to organize its protection. The recourse to a justice other than its own was severely repressed, as well as any untimely revelation on its functioning and its operations.

Despite what one might think, it is not the Mafia that has subverted the modern state, but it is the states that have concocted and used the methods of the Mafia. Any modern State forced to defend its existence against populations who question its legitimacy is led to use against them the most tested methods of the Mafia, and to impose on them this choice: terrorism or protection of the State.

But there is nothing new in all this. Thucydides already wrote, 400 years before Jesus-Christ, in The Peloponnesian War : “QWhat is more, those who spoke there were part of the conspiracy and the speeches they made had been submitted beforehand to the scrutiny of their friends. No opposition was manifested among the rest of the citizens, who were frightened by the number of conspirators. When someone tried despite everything to contradict them, we immediately found a convenient way to kill them. The murderers were not wanted and no prosecution was initiated against those suspected. The people did not react and people were so terrified that they considered themselves lucky, even while remaining silent, to escape the violence. Believing the conspirators to be much more numerous than they were, they had the feeling of complete helplessness. The city was too big and they didn't know each other well enough for them to find out what was really going on. Under these conditions, however indignant one was, one could confide one's grievances to no one. We therefore had to give up taking action against the culprits, because for that we would have had to turn either to a stranger or to a person we knew whom we did not trust. In the democratic party, personal relations were everywhere imbued with mistrust, and one always wondered whether the one with whom one had to deal was not in collusion with the conspirators. ».

Today, the general manipulations in favor of the established order have become so dense that they spread out almost in broad daylight. Yet the true influences remain hidden, and the ultimate intentions can only be rather difficultly suspected, almost never understood.

Our democratic world which, until recently, was going from success to success, and had convinced itself that it was loved, has since had to give up these dreams; today it is no more than the ideological weapon of a new world order.
