This is a candidate that looks promising, Eva Joly had asked to be carried, by Europe Ecologie, that's done.

NANTES (Reuters) - Almost dubbed by environmental leaders, Eva Joly is also leading the race among activists of the green movement, even if the terms of her presidential candidacy have yet to be defined.
Far from serving her, the fact that the ex-investigating judge is a novice in politics - she was elected MEP in 2009 only - is considered an asset on the Nantes campus (Loire-Atlantique), where the Summer Days of the Movement are held from Thursday to Saturday.
"With her experience as a magistrate, she still knows the workings of the system", argues Damien, who appreciates that Eva Joly, 66, is "not part of the seraglio".
His candidacy for the Elysée, which is now a consensus among the leaders of the Greens and Europe Ecology, "from the point of view of public opinion, it will be perceived as something very strong", predicts this 24-year-old urban planner came from Yvelines.
Eva Joly, who was one of the figureheads of Europe Ecologie during the European campaign in 2009, issued a condition for embarking on the race for the Elysée: to be "supported by the entire movement", Greens and Europe Ecologie, who work on the structuring of the nebula born in 2008.
The choice will be up to the activists, who could be consulted in the fall of 2011, but some people close to Eva Joly, such as MEP Yannick Jadot, are pleading for a designation from the start of next year.
"There may be reluctance on the side of the historic Greens because Eva Joly is a newcomer to them", recognizes Camille Lévêque, a young law student, "But I do not know of any who are truly opposed to her candidacy."
A TICKET FOR 2012?
For José Bové, the case is heard.
"It's a candidacy that brings together all the environmental families," welcomed the MEP on RTL.
Above all, pleads the one who was a candidate for the Elysee Palace in 2007 under the banner of the altermondialists, "she is known for having known how to be right (...) for having fought against corruption, against political and economic misappropriation".
Same analysis for Aida Sedano, a Greens sympathizer from Paris, who sells handicrafts on campus.
"His honesty and his level of culture give credibility to the environmental candidacy" at the Elysée, assures this 45-year-old anthropologist specializing in biodiversity.
"His human side can make the difference in the presidential election, I think," adds the activist.
It remains to specify the contours of this candidacy and the idea of a “presidential ticket” between Eva Joly and Cécile Duflot is far from being unanimous.
In the Nouvel Observateur this week, the young leader of the Greens confirms that she does not wish to be a candidate on her own name - "I do not have sufficient shoulders" - but she believes that the tandem project should be "digged in". .
"Eva and I are nicer than Nicolas and Carla, aren't they?", jokes Cécile Duflot, who would see herself working on the preparation of the 2012 legislative elections - a task to which Daniel Cohn-Bendit would also like to devote himself.
