Citizens' initiative referendum, restoration of the ISF, fewer parliamentarians: the people questioned by Ifop for the JDD mostly support it regardless of their political sensitivity
Is there really a need for a great national debate? To read the results of our Ifop poll, the French have already chosen massively (74 to 82% of favorable opinions) the measures they want to see adopted at the end of this consultation which must begin on January 15. We had proposed five for their consideration. They are among those that have been put forward by the Yellow Vests and other right and left movements that challenge the policy ofEmmanuel Macron. A small surprise: it is the reduction in the number of parliamentarians that wins the most votes (82%), ahead of the inclusion of the blank vote in the electoral results and the citizens' initiative referendum (80%).

61% of respondents who say they are close to En Marche want the restoration of the ISF
Whatever the claimed political sensitivities, these measures are always clearly in the majority. Thus the restoration of the wealth tax (ISF), which convinces 77% of those questioned, is defended by 61% of those polled who say they are close to the presidential party, La République en Marche (LREM).
Support for all the proposals is more massive among those who identify with Marine Le Pen's National Rally, Jean-Luc Mélenchon's La France insoumise or the Socialist Party. Membership is lower but also very similar in volume between supporters of LREM and the Republicans of Laurent Wauquiez.
