If we went look for the 100 billion tax evasion that we lose every year, (in leaving Europe for example), we could help these auto-entrepreneurs more. 77% of them are no longer profitable after 3 years, as soon as they pay taxes.

In 2019, business creation broke a new record. However, 77% of auto-entrepreneurs go bankrupt within the first 5 years.

This is the good economic news of the day. There création d'entreprises broke a new record in 2019. +18% of companies created. It is the auto-entrepreneurs who give this impetus, but their activity remains very fragile. Deliveries, personal services, crafts... the French do not hesitate to embark on this adventure. But 77% of them go bankrupt in the first 5 years and the phenomenon could increase. In 2020, the reductions in contributions will be less favorable for self-entrepreneurs.

More than 800.000 companies created

Some, however, do not regret their choice. This is the case of Amélie Serri, founder of the Atelier Français. "Creating a company also means being a little more free and when you have had a career as an employee for private companies where you are bound hand and foot. Even if you are motivated, you are not free. Being creative business, it is above all freedom"she says. More than 800.000 companies were created in 2019.
