The Dark Knight Rises was tainted by a killer that claimed 12 lives when the film premiered in Aurora. The city finds itself once again at the center of a deadly shootout since several people have been killed in a hostage situation.

The Dark Knight Rises was screened 6 months ago in one of Aurora's movie theatres. The orange-haired killer made headlines after killing 12 people during the screening. A hostage-taking has once again turned the city upside down this Saturday. The alert is given by a person who has managed to escape according to the NBC who relays the information. As a precaution, the police force asks the inhabitants to leave the place. Around 3 a.m., a man had locked himself in with several hostages, according to police officer Cassidee Carlson. The latter tells the press that they came into contact with the killer who was armed and described as dangerous.

The killer was shot

The outcome will not be identical to that of the screening of The Dark Knight Rises since the killer was shot dead by law enforcement. They also discovered three bodies inside the house, all three people were deceased. So this news shooting d'Aurora leaves 4 dead, including the killer. The identity of the latter and the victims have not been communicated. According to the first information circulating on Internet, the 4 people could belong to the same family.
