5G and health risks: “We cannot demonstrate that there are no risks” (Nextinpact.com)

Listen it's half a win, 'cause they admit they have NO 5G impact study, when we are a few months away from deployment, and afterwards we are surprised that people set fire to cell towers. These policies are totally toxic, they are willing to sacrifice our health on the altar of growth. The proof is that they are both illegitimate and unconscious. We're not even talking aboutElon Musk and his 42.000 5G satellites, in short, stop these people, prevent them from turning the earth into a microwave oven!

Harmfulness 5g

The question of the health risks of 5G was invited to the Senate this morning. Each camp was able to present its arguments, while Arcep took the opportunity to explain itself on maintaining the auction in September. Several senators asked the FTT and ANSES to " grant [their] discourse “, quite divergent, it must be recognized.

The Senate's Regional Planning and Sustainable Development Committee has just organized round tables on the controversies surrounding 5G. Representatives from all walks of life were present, in particular the president of Arcep, an official from ANSES, the president of the French Telecoms Federation and the association Agir pour l'Environnement. Enough to draw up a complete panorama of the expectations and fears of each other.

The ANSES report at the heart of the debate

The start of the debate was an opportunity for ANSES to come back to its preliminary report on the health risks associated with 5G. As a reminder, it was published at the beginning of the year, following a seizure by the Health Agency in February 2019 by the ministries in charge of health, the environment and the economy.

To sum up, ANSES faced a problem after an initial overview: " few publications have studied the effects of exposure to frequencies between 3 and 6 GHz “, already used for satellite connections or Wi-Fi for example. A worrying point for some while deployments should start in a few months

This also concerns the 26 GHz band which must be used in a second time, whereas they are currently exploited in particular for weather stations. This will not, moreover, be without asking some technical problems.

During the round table, Olivier Merckel, Head of the Physical Agents Risk Assessment Unit at ANSES, recalled that there is a change in the " behavior of electromagnetic waves with respect to living organisms "between 6 and 10 GHz: the waves at these frequencies" penetrate less deeply » in body tissues.

At 3,5 GHz we are below this range, but “ the interaction with the living moves a lot “, he explained. The problem being that there is little data « because there is very little deployment in this band ". To answer the question of a potential risk, the Agency is studying an avenue: " Can we adapt/transpose/extrapolate the numerous data up to 2,5 GHz on the 3,5 GHz? » The answer is not yet known.

With 5G, “very complete new modalities to understand”
