The French are the only masters on board!...
PARIS (Reuters) - Nearly six out of ten French people support continuing the movement against pension reform even after the likely adoption of the text in the Senate, according to a BVA-Absoluce poll for Les Echos and France Info.
According to this survey, 59% of respondents said they were "in favor of unions continuing their calls for strike action and demonstrations after Parliament adopted the pension reform bill".
They are 40% to think the opposite and 1% do not decide.
Furthermore, 62% of those surveyed are asking President Nicolas Sarkozy to pause reforms and more than two-thirds (68%) consider the economic policy pursued by the government to be "bad".
The survey was conducted by telephone on October 15 and 16 among 1.005 people aged 15 and over.
