After Trump against Europe, journalist Jean-Loup Izambert returns with a new book, 56, in two volumes of which I invite you to discover the first. Jean-Loup Izambert takes us on a journey across Europe and the Middle East in pursuit of an incredible list of shadow actors straddling religion, organized crime and political terrorism. It is an extremely rich book in names, in operational details, in descriptions of networks. – Hello, Mr. Izambert. We know you on our site with the presentation of your previous work, Trump against Europe. how this book 56 is it related to the previous one?
Jean-Loup Izambert: - I wrote Trump against Europe between the two volumes of 56 and these three works are linked. The news, with the election of Donald Trump, pushed me to it. It was necessary to recall the reality of US policy against Europe as well as the nature of Washington's political power. Trump against Europe deals with the wars waged by "the land of war" against Europe to prevent the western side of the so-called small Union "European" to regain its great space, its heart, its full continental power. Since 1990, American leaders have been obsessed with seeing Western and Central Europe develop their natural, geographical, historical, cultural, political and economic ties with the first power in the making on our continent, the Russian Federation.
This is the reason why they lead several wars – economic, financial, media, diplomatic, military – against the main countries of Europe, from Paris to Moscow, from Stockholm to Athens. The migratory flows that they encouraged by opening up through war two corridors for the deportation of populations, the “Mediterranean sector” in the south following the war against Libya, the “Balkan sector” in the east by Kosovo with the war against Syria, participate in the destabilization of the main countries of the small Union "European". It's been an ongoing process since the nineties that I call« Franco-terrorist friendships ». Obviously, you will find there the presence of the leaders of Washington, folded with laughter to see their French counterparts doing the " dirty work " in their place. To take ownership of “new economic territories”, transnational corporations need the intervention of the state, with their military as a last resort if necessary, in order to bring down the governments that obstruct their plunder. Of course, in this economic system which is based only on the accumulation of profits by the world's ultra-rich caste, they engage in other wars with each other in order to compete for the best share of the " cake " for which they are competing. I describe this process in Trump against Europe with several testimonials and examples. In both volumes of 56 I dwell more particularly on the instrumentalization of terrorism by French leaders.
– Do you link the Muslim Brotherhood network in the 1990s to a form of looting via neocolonialism? Doesn't this notion of pillage overdetermine the history of Western involvement in the Middle East since the XNUMXth century?e century.
- Yes, the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood are opening the doors of the Arab world to the plunder of Western transnational corporations. To understand how and why, we must look at the history of the development of their networks, including in Europe. Without going into details here, as various Arab scholars and historians such as Olivier Carré and Gérard Michaud have done in their book The Muslim Brotherhood (Editions Gallimard) or the journalist Ian Johnson with his investigation A mosque in Munich (Editions JC Lattès), who are these Muslim Brotherhood who claim to be "in the service of Islam" ?
Their first organizations were born from Egypt where their movement was born in 1928 to fight against English colonialism, repressions and misery. Acting under the banner of the Muslim religion, they will gradually establish themselves in all Arab countries. But they will very quickly become a political organization which, strong in its influence in the poorest strata of society, will first compose and maneuver with the national bourgeoisies then, later, attempt to seize power by the force to impose their religious dictatorship. From 1929, the first donations they received in Egypt came from the Canal Company through which the English controlled the Suez Canal. Subsequently, many of their main leaders, with the exception of some of them like the Syrian Issam al-Attar, will always put themselves at the service of the imperialists.
But it was the years 1945-1950 that would begin to reveal the duplicity of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood. Publicly, they call on the masses to revolt against injustice and the foreign occupier, behind the scenes they make a pact with the bourgeoisies of the imperialist powers against the Arab peoples. This condemnation of traitors to "Arab Nation" should not make us forget that Muslims like the Tatar Mirsaid Sultan Galiev were revolutionaries whose thought continues to be debated almost eighty years after their death. Let's not forget either that Communists and Muslims demonstrated together in the 1920s and then, later, in 1948 in Egypt, against the Wafd party, against the government and the British.
Meanwhile, during the Second World War they will collaborate with the Germans. Their first major recruitment, organized by the Brothers, will be with the Nazis to form an SS division of twenty-one thousand Muslim soldiers from several Arab countries and the Balkans supervised by mullahs and imams, the Waffen SS Handschar division. Grouped together in France in the Massif Central initially, it will be spread over the departments of Puy-de-Dôme, Cantal, Haute-Loire, Aveyron, Lozère and Corrèze where its fighters will be trained. Then it will then be exported to the Balkans where it will indulge in mass crimes and will try, without success, to overcome the communist resistance. At the end of the war, refusing to cooperate with the other social forces engaged in the anti-imperialist and revolutionary struggle, most of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood will put themselves at the service of the CIA against the growing influence of the communist and Arab nationalist movements. .
Instrumentalizing their leaders, the US services will lead them to oppose the revolutionary forces for fear that a common front with them will drive them out of the countries whose wealth they covet. This is the period of their establishment in Europe from England, Germany and Switzerland. The second great recruitment will be that operated since the first war of Afghanistan, from 1979 to 1992, to put troops of tens of thousands of combatants at the service of the Westerners in order to bring down the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. A third recruitment in several Arab countries will take place at the end of the 1980s, essentially with the support of Saudi Arabia, to make groups of combatants available to the political-mafia militias of the UCK. It is then, with the support of the CIA and NATO, to split the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia into several states. The fourth major recruitment will be that carried out in 2010-2011 to form brigades of mercenaries in order to overthrow the Libyan government, then the Syrian government. The American, English, French, Turkish and Jordanian services will be, with those of the Persian Gulf dictatorships, the main actors in these two wars of aggression. Since the 1940s, who has benefited from all these wars in which they play the role of both recruiters and martyrs by spreading terror and death? Certainly not to the peoples but to the former colonial powers and their transnational corporations. Wherever you have had the Muslim Brotherhood in power in countries of the Middle East, even for a short time such as Tunisia or Egypt, the peoples have rapidly regressed, the already great misery has increased further while the Western transnational corporations grew rich and US military bases were established.
– Should we talk about looting or can we also talk about capitalism and the fact « that the land (resources) belongs who gets the best return » as Hervé Juvin rightly says in his book « The Great Divide » ?
- This pillage is the result of decisions planned by the management boards of Western transnational corporations to appropriate what they call “new economic territories”. To this end, they need the intervention of the State, which can range from diplomatic actions to war, passing through economic and financial sanctions and other operations of destabilization. I deal with these plans prepared long in advance in Trump against Europe with the testimonies of several speakers, in particular that of John Perkins who was one of these “financial assassins” in the service of US transnationals or that of Professor Michel Chossudovsky, director of the Center for Research on Globalization (www.globalisation.ca). “The best performance”, but how and for whose benefit? For large private owners of finance and economics, "best performance" is the only financial return, that which enables them to assure their colossal enrichment and to preserve their system and their privileges. Never mind the consequences of their frantic race for immediate maximum profit, whether human, environmental or otherwise. They must systematically destroy all state structures that oppose their looting.
In contrast, in a socialist society, "best performance" is the one that allows the exploitation of the planet's resources, the mobilization of intelligence, of creative potential, of Capital in the service of the general interest. The financial criterion is no longer the only one to be taken into consideration and the satisfaction of the needs of the people, of the general interest, takes precedence over that of the private interests of the wealthy. This presupposes direct political democracy and economic democracy, in the first place in the management of financial enterprises, banks, major means of production and exchange. This democracy can only be achieved by peoples aware of the political objectives to be achieved in order to decide on the use of wealth and thus be masters of their future.
Two examples if you will, which illustrate, one that it is possible for a State alone to oppose this looting and to develop for the benefit of the general interest, the other which raises the essential question of the political awareness necessary to emerge from the capitalist crisis: Cuba, a country which has been subject to the blockade of the United States since February 1962, is today a world example in terms of public health. Not only is medicine practically free there – including heavy treatments such as those to fight cancer or AIDS – but since its first promotion in 2005 the new Latin American School of Medicine in Havana has trained more than fifteen thousand doctors. from about 7 countries, including the United States. They now work in eighty countries. Cuba now has 1000 doctors per 3 inhabitants when France has only XNUMX! Similarly, Cuban researchers are at the forefront in the treatment of many diseases. For example, they have just developed the first vaccine against lung cancer. How and why was this possible in a small state without great resources which suffered one of the longest and harshest blockades imposed on a people by the imperialists? Because the Cuban revolutionary government gives priority to education, health and scientific research. It has made health a national issue by developing, not the privatization of health structures for the benefit of transnational corporations in the pharmaceutical industry and others, but public health centers in all sectors of activity, from medicine from prevention to research.
Second example, the opposite of this one: during the campaign for the French presidential elections, with the exception of the UPR, none of the candidates made a concrete proposal, necessary and sufficient for France to regain complete control. its monetary and financial stability. No party has concretely addressed the question of the place of banking and finance in society, the question of the restructuring of the banking sector and its management. However, claiming to want to change things as declared by Mr. Mélenchon, Mrs. Le Pen and the candidates of the other parties without dealing really and thoroughly with these questions, is to mislead the people; it is to drive it into a dead end, as the Syriza movement and the Tsipras government did in Greece. This is a critical issue that must be the subject of a broad national debate, not only for the banking and financial sectors but for all key sectors of the economy. Have you seen political parties or trade union centers campaigning on this issue? Not approaching them amounts to putting the people in the situation of a housewife who would go shopping without her wallet. Only once this question has been debated and the essential political proposals for breaking with the system have been drawn up and supported by a vast majority movement with a civic conscience, the "best performance" can be achieved, no longer for the benefit of a minority of hoarders but for the general interest of the people. There is the great separation. Everything else is just talk that ignores the essential.
– Coming back to the book, and without revealing volume 2, who benefits from this double game at the highest peak of the French state?
- This game benefits as I said the big private owners of finance and economy. The individuals placed at the head of the state are, for the most part, all from the same schools in which they were formatted to ensure the continuity of the system. These are, to use the expression ofHerve Seriesyx, academic, former senior civil servant, business executive and researcher in business organization, in his very good essay « Alert on our social contract » (Editions Eyrolles), "pea counters", minds that are clinging to yesterday's institutions and ideas in a world that is opening up, innovative and interactive. In his work on « The New Criminal Capitalism », published by Odile Jacob, Jean-François Gayraud, a senior official in the national police, describes this hybridization between financial circles and the state apparatus: "It is, he analyzes, a form of crony capitalism, with quasi-mafia-like practices, governed by a supra-class which adapts perfectly to a low-intensity democracy: vote for whoever you want, that is irrelevant, since in the end it is the market and not Parliament that decides. The financial aristocracy in control is served both by a political class under orders, made up of debtors, and by a new clergy, no longer Catholic, but media, speaking out good and bad and giving it legitimacy. »
Areas of lawlessness have thus settled at the highest peak of the state. And, the more the capitalist crisis worsens, the more the political power is criminalized. It criminalizes itself financially under the pressure of financial groups and networks of alumni of the Grandes Ecoles who, out of careerist opportunism, spawn with the circles of big financial bosses and their political operatives. Contrary to what he said, it was not to restore the authority of the State that former President Sarkozy wanted to decriminalize business law, but rather to leave a little more free hand to the clan of large private owners of finance and economics. All the measures that have been taken by the various governments and are taken today by the Philippe government – destruction of the Labor Code, virtual abolition of the wealth tax, dismemberment of the territories of the Republic, State subsidies annual average of more than 140 billion euros and tax exemptions for the most important capitalist transnational companies, worsening of the living conditions of pensioners, etc. – tend to the same objective: to protect the clan of the ultra-rich to whom they are indebted for their staging and their power. But the regime is also criminalizing itself politically. These are not just cases that arise here and there as a result of the financial criminalization of political power, but of a continuous process that grows in power until it poisons the state apparatus.
The « Franco-terrorist friendships » are not the one-night stand of a few crooked politicians with a few criminals to further special interests. It is the development of ongoing relations, over the long term, between French political leaders, all linked, as if by chance, to the Atlanticist milieu, with criminal organizations of which several members have been or are involved in terrorist organizations. It must be understood that terrorism is only the tool of the political system to ensure its survival while it is in the process of implosion. This is the reason why it is necessary to identify and designate those who are behind the killers. After reading the two volumes of 56 in which I publish various documents, readers will be able to get an idea of the hypocrisy of certain French politicians. To see, for example, Mr Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Philippe government, going to Barcelona in August 2017 to cry over the victims of attacks and to call for the fight against terrorism is a real masquerade. Did not this minister himself, on the orders of former President Hollande, organize deliveries of military equipment and arms in the most complete illegality, flouting in particular the International Treaty on Trade in weapons (ATT) and the European Common Position, for the benefit of irregular and criminal groups of the same theocratic ideology as the perpetrators of these attacks?
– How do I get Interpol files? Aren't you a form of mailbox to reveal what some, integrated into the highest authorities of the State, cannot say publicly?
- I'm not meant to be anyone's mailbox. I produce at the end of the two volumes of 56 some of the many documents collected during my investigations into the « Franco-terrorist friendships ». Indeed, I have noticed, over these years of investigations, an evolution in the police, intelligence, justice and diplomatic circles, and not only in France. More and more civil servants, sometimes very close to political power, are in complete disagreement with the decisions of their hierarchies. Some of them believe today that the mission in which they are committed by vocation no longer has anything to do with the orders they receive. Civil servants who have chosen to defend their country no longer accept to carry out orders contrary to their mission, for example to transport military equipment and weapons to groups whose ramifications they know have links with terrorist networks. They are aware that these dangerous games ordered by unscrupulous politicians can have terrible consequences. The attacks currently taking place in Europe are an illustration of this. What is new, for a few years, is that they no longer want to let it go without reacting in one way or another.
Being bound by a duty of discretion, some sometimes entrust information, avenues of research or promote contacts that allow the investigation to be taken further, to complete or verify information from different sources. This is a very important fact because it often takes long weeks, sometimes even months, to verify the accuracy of facts that sometimes take place thousands of kilometers away. I have been practicing my profession for nearly forty-five years, am known and will never publish any document without having verified it. I think that respect for the word given over the years has also favored quality contacts that I have been able to establish through civil servants or people close to the decision-making centers and I thank them for their confidence. I received a few documents anonymously, apparently very interesting, but did not use any of them having not yet been able to verify either the accuracy of their source or the reality of the facts they contained. As for the Interpol red notices that I publish concerning the Muslim Brotherhood wanted for a time by the International Criminal Police Organization and protected by French leaders, all have been verified.
In addition, I supplemented this data with new surveys that I conducted, including abroad, which enabled me to trace certain sectors of their networks. On its own, the bank of the Muslim Brotherhood and its nebula in which nestles a multitude of companies established in Switzerland, Germany, England and in offshore places is a real octopus with multiple ramifications where charitable and banking institutions mingle. But you should also know that Interpol now has a website (www.interpol.com) by which it is possible to verify information and even to search for individuals involved in different crimes, from pedophilia to terrorism and all kinds of crimes.
– Faced with caricatural propaganda in the West and in France in particular, isn't there a risk for us of falling into a form of counter-propaganda as Manichean as the other? The father of the current president had put in place a rather fierce political police.
- We must be all the more vigilant as politicians and certain journalists who care little about the reality of the facts sometimes rewrite history in their own way. For example, some of them present the repression of Hama in February 1982 as a crime of the Syrian government. They just forget to say the essential, namely what provoked this reaction from the government of the time: since the attack that the Muslim Brotherhood organized against the artillery school in Aleppo in June 1979, attack in which 83 students were killed, the Muslim Brotherhood never ceased to spread terror in the country with bombs. They attempted on several occasions to assassinate President Hafez el-Assad, multiplied wild attacks in all the major cities of Syria, called for an insurrection from the mosques they controlled, attacked public establishments, consumer cooperatives , schools and, in general, attacked all the symbols of the secular republic. But what else have they done in all the Maghreb countries? What else did they do again in the Syrian Arab Republic, this time with the active support of the United States, England and France? It is particularly serious to see French leaders for years providing continuous support to such murderous groups with real war propaganda, war material and weapons. To justify their commitment to these serial killers, the French leaders have resorted to the worst lies: sometimes "Bashar had his army shoot at the people", "the Syrian regime" was presented as “a bloody dictatorship”, sometimes “the elections in Syria are not valid” or, "the Syrian army uses chemical weapons".
But, you will notice that practically no one in France, with the exception of a few rare journalists and specialists in the Middle East, has reported on the reality of Syrian society or the real perpetrators of the massacres, the Muslim Brotherhood through organizations they secretly control. As you may have read in the document of an intelligence service, since the 2011s they have resorted to the same plan in an attempt to seize power. Do you know, for example, that the Free Syrian Army (ASL) is an armed organization which was formed by the Muslim Brotherhood infiltrated into the ranks of the army? This structure massively armed by several countries, including France, is at the origin of the conflict which bloodied Syria, from XNUMX, by criminal actions. To unleash their new war, they sent snipers to fire on the population and on the forces of order during peaceful demonstrations to then present themselves as the martyrs who were victims of a "bloody dictatorship". They were only following the watchword of Rached Ghannouchi, the leader of the Tunisian Muslim Brotherhood, who, in audio cassettes calling for violence in the XNUMXs, rejoiced at the number of victims who had fallen in their provocations: “We rejoice at the large number of victims and martyrs… (…) We consider the increase in the number of victims and martyrs to be a good omen. We want martyrs. » I produce extracts from these documents in 56.
Then this organization was at the heart of the new coup attempt of July 2012 prepared by several services, including the DGSE, which failed. The French media do not mention it, but thousands of fighters taken by truck to the suburbs of Damascus had to beat a retreat before the determination, not only of the Syrian army but also of the population organized in Popular Defense Committees, which dislodged them district by district, suburb by suburb. However, the FSA is nothing other than a carbon copy of the Army for the Liberation of Syria (ALS) which was also organized by the Muslim Brotherhood from the 1980s with the same objectives of spread terror. It carried out numerous terrorist actions, notably in 1982, which caused thousands of deaths throughout the country. Which side is the "ferocity" ? Syrian secret services protecting society or barbarians killing innocent people with bombs? From that time the Muslim Brotherhood was driven out of Syria and the population, especially the youth, massively rejected them. They were only able to continue their work of undermining the Syrian Republic by the support they received from abroad, mainly from their backers from the Persian Gulf dictatorships at first, then from Westerners. If you carry out a real work of journalistic investigation today on the origins, the composition of these organizations, the contacts of their leaders and on the support they receive, you will realize that the "rebels" and "revolutionaries" presented by French leaders and media are in fact " employees " of the CIA.
But by investigating these facts you also bring to light the whole propaganda campaign which, year after year, has been orchestrated by Western leaders on different themes. Over the course of the investigation and the verification of the facts revisited, it appears that many of the news broadcast at length by politicians and the media are false. This smokescreen covers a grim reality: not only do these terrorist groups benefit from US military support on the ground – not to mention that of France and other countries – but several of the leaders and groups of these "revolutionaries" are trained in the United States itself. It is, for example, at the military base in Tampa, Florida, that hundreds of leaders of armed gangs operating in Syria have been trained and supervised by experts from the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Closer to Syria, it is in Jordan, at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) created in 2009 in Yajooz, at the gates of Amman, a US military center whose role in 56, that they are also trained to attack the Syrian Republic. The CIA works there in close collaboration with the Jordanian secret services (General Intelligence Department – GID) and received FSA groups there to train them to spread terror in Syria.
Similarly, it is from Turkey, at the military base of Incirlik, that the CIA supervises the delivery of arms and military equipment intended for these groups. I report on this point, in volume 2 of 56, the testimony of a Turkish official who works with intelligence. This explains how, following the installation of terrorist groups along the Turkish-Syrian border from 2011, all of Turkey's borders have become porous. In Jordan, you quickly find yourself in the networks of « Franco-terrorist friendships » since French soldiers also participate in the formation and training of these groups. This is why, with regard to the alleged "ferocity" of the Syrian secret services, we must update the barbarism of the crimes of the Muslim Brotherhood that they were only able to commit thanks to the support of their sponsors. To this must be added the provocations, the media propaganda operations against the Syrian Arab Republic, the economic, financial and political blockades by the United States and the European Union "European" since 2003. And how not to remind those who, like Foreign Minister Le Drian, reverse the roles, of the important commitment of the Syrian security forces in the fight against terrorism. In January 2013, a former DGSE officer returning from Lebanon, indicated that one of these groups almost cracked down on France with chemical weapons. This military intelligence professional has not forgotten, unlike the French leaders, that France has obtained “Thanks to the cooperation with Syria, valuable information that led us to thwart, in 2008, a terrorist plan that would have caused thousands of deaths in the Paris metro. The Syrian intelligence services obtained their precious information after having arrested, by Colonel Makhlouf, a group of the most dangerous terrorists of Al-Qaeda (…)”.
Various experts, including Americans, finally recognize today that since mid-2012, the thousands of tons of weapons delivered secretly and massively by the CIA and about fifteen Western special services, including the DGSE, in Turkey and in Jordan mainly equip bands of mercenaries imported to the Turkish-Syrian border, including Kurdish YPG militias led by CIA collaborator Salih Muslim. As highlighted by the independent journalist Maxime Chaix, who specializes in the fields of intelligence and clandestine operations, "supervised by the CIA and fourteen other special services, including those of France, the United Kingdom, Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the financing, training and supply of weapons to the rebels from Turkish and Jordanian territory has benefited all groups armed forces, including Daesh and the al-Nusra Front". It is individuals from these groups who are now returning to Europe to their “employers” after being beaten militarily. These few elements that I have just cited are not counter-propaganda but simply raw, historical, verifiable and verified facts that contradict the discourse, of propaganda, held by Western leaders, in particular Americans, English and French. This massive support for criminal groups to carry out the crime of aggression against the Syrian republic by proxy could not have been committed without chloroforming Western public opinion through a succession of propaganda campaigns.
Remotely controlled from Washington, these are essentially based on communication centers financed with tens of millions of dollars and on the instrumentalization of the media as I describe in my investigation. Trump against Europe. Faced with this mass propaganda, how to react? As a journalist, I don't have to make my opinion prevail. I work with facts, I'll get them on " field ", verify them and make them known. I have seen professional journalists presenting these gangs of killers as "revolutionaries". Why ? Because they often misunderstand the history of the Syrian Republic, the Muslim Brotherhood and these groups and they were manipulated at the Turkish-Syrian border. Result: the films they made contain biased testimonies, numerous untruths and thus fueled the media propaganda campaigns against Syria. They were abused, without even realizing it and for a simple reason: they went there believing beforehand to the official discourse of politicians and certain intermediaries without imagining for a single moment that the reality of the facts could be very different and, above all, disguised to this extent.
And I'm not talking about those who make another choice, far from our job, and wander on the sidewalks of disinformation against some subsidies paid by the DGSE, the CIA or the Israeli Mossad by hiding behind the title of a media . The reader will read on this subject the lived example that I give in 56 on one of them which was presented for years in the French media as the "specialist in the Middle East and terrorism" de Paris-Match and who was only one "little hand", sometimes from the DGSE, sometimes from the Mossad. They particularly distinguished themselves in certain newsrooms when the authorities wanted, through three political and media operations, to hold the Syrian army responsible for the use of chemical weapons in order to be able to obtain from Parliament wage a larger war. As explained in 56 different speakers, these montages, which were widely distributed to the media, later turned out to be all false and prepared by services placed under the responsibility of Prime Ministers Jean-Marc Ayrault and Bernard Cazeneuve. Some have too many secrets or accomplices to protect, others have adopted the position of the ostrich as a way of life to border their small careers within institutions. It is therefore necessary to circumvent them and go hunting in their homes, in the forbidden zone as my colleague Patrick de Carolis would say, by various means the sought-after information which they obstruct. Things quickly become delicate and complicated because in this kind of investigation you are confronted with organizations, individuals from other cultures, from several countries. Moreover, we cannot say, in general, that communication is a strong point of Arab countries. It is therefore necessary to persist in the facts by trying to find out what is happening behind the speeches and official acts, to find the Ariadne's thread which will make it possible, in a smoky political and media environment, to go back to the origins of the conflict and the true truth of its development and its actors. This is to tell you that counter-propaganda is not in danger of becoming as Manichean as that put in place by aggressor states whose campaign themes are beginning to run out. For all these reasons, I conducted this succession of investigations according to the rule of the three principles of investigation: nobeforehand, do not trust anyone and verify all the information collected. It is only at this price that we can avoid being manipulated and falling into the trap you mention.
– Finally, are the non-aligned countries almost mechanically not forced to use the same methods to last against the aggressiveness of the Empire. Shouldn't the black book of Syrian political life be written now? Are the populations here and there able to take a step back from their recent history to emerge from these conflicts from above?
- This is an important question rarely mentioned in the French media, even specialized ones. Before writing the black book of Syrian political life, it would no doubt be appropriate to write that of French political life. The aggressor is the West, mainly the United States, England and France and not Syria. I put aside the dictatorships of the Persian Gulf which are only the executors of the plan hatched in Washington for its sole economic and strategic interests. As far as history is concerned, the Syrian people know perfectly well what to expect from their aggressors and their supporters. If this were not the case, it would not have demonstrated by the millions against the war and in support of the government in the streets of all the major cities of Syria. If the Syrian people were unaware of the current issues, they would not have organized themselves into Popular Defense Committees to resist and fight alongside their army and the security services which, according to French politicians and some media “shoot at the people”… Have you seen images in the Western media showing the populations of Aleppo, Palmyra, Mosul, Deir ez-Zor, the youth welcoming their army with flowers? No. Have you seen images showing, in the middle of the war and despite attacks, threats and calls for a boycott, the Syrian people mobilized to publicly debate, amend and vote on their new Constitution on February 27, 2012? No, because they show that the Syrian people are on their feet, resisting all attacks and that political life continues. You will also find these images at the opening of 56.
You have to have a great perspective on history when you see the media, political, diplomatic and economic pressures the Syrian people have been confronted with for fifteen years and how, despite these pressures, they organize themselves, show solidarity, mobilize to drive out the foreign aggressor while already preparing for the future. Who in France gives voice to these young Syrian students who leave their studies to ask to receive military training in order to defend their country? Nobody ! I will answer the second part of your question with another question: have you seen in a Western country millions of people demonstrating against war and for peace in Syria? Getting out of conflict from above means restoring peace. And we cannot make peace with countries like the United States or France whose leaders, after having applauded and activated the war, continue to slow down the peace process even within the UN. As far as I am concerned, as I was already able to say publicly in 2013 at a conference in Paris, I have no doubt that the Syrian people do not need peace negotiations to win and come out of this terrible war stronger and clear-sighted. The ordeal he is going through should encourage him to build his future without Western and Gulf aggressors. What will his choices be? It is up to him to respond with the leaders he chooses.
As for the French and more generally the peoples of the States involved in this war, they are no doubt only beginning to discover how much they have been deceived by their leaders and the media. The expulsion of François Hollande and the party "socialist" like republicans of the corridors of power, the record abstention during the last presidential elections and the great loss of confidence of the French in the media are the signs of a rejection of the political system, of a way of governing and of the traditional means of information. Regarding the latter, to use an expression that has become popular, “they all say the same thing”, with the exception of a few rare newspapers, including the France Television channels corseted by the state since Sarkozy. The media all belong to the same caste of billionaires. I am talking about the ultra-rich owners of these media who represent 0,01% of all French households and who alone hide 140 billion euros in tax havens, or the equivalent of 7% of the GDP of the France. I think that the French are aware of having been excluded from politics for decades and that they are beginning, in a confused way, to think about how to reclaim it to move towards a new democracy. He will also discover there that the new Syrian constitution is the most democratic in the Arab world, which nobody says. This Constitution even includes provisions like the one I have just quoted which are food for thought for French society. It now remains for the Syrians to bring to life the text they debated and voted on to make their country a modern, democratic and progressive state. Former Prime Minister Salah Jedid had begun to pave the way with major reforms between 1966 and 1970 before being overthrown by a coup d'etat in almost universal indifference. As you rightly mention the way in which the non-aligned countries must react to imperialist aggression, it is clear that their victory will depend on the ability of these peoples and their leaders to create a balance of power in their favor. , not only militarily but also politically and diplomatically. From this point of view, Syria seems to me well below its possibilities, if only in the relations that it could inaugurate with the Organization for Cooperation and Security.
Readers who have read my survey Trump against Europe will immediately understand my questioning on this point. The Russian and French presidents, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron, said they were ready, on September 15 during a telephone interview, to "intensify their joint efforts to resolve the crisis in Syria, in particular within the framework of the Geneva process under the aegis of the United Nations". - You have three levels in the hierarchy of the politico-military apparatus developed by the CIA with the Pentagon and the US army during the 2010s. This has been regularly modified according to the evolution of the war and demands of the United States' four main partners in the crime of aggression: France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The command of the groups was entrusted, as the reader will read in 56, to individuals known to Western services (United States, England, France) and the Gulf and with whom they have maintained close relations, sometimes for several years. They are usually from or linked in one way or another with the ruling circles of the Persian Gulf dictatorships or wealthy families and have often had their higher education in Western countries, mainly Anglo-Saxon.
Then, between these leaders, real administrators of death, and the great mass of mercenaries recruited by the organizations of the Muslim Brotherhood, you have, the second level of technicians, intermediaries. These organize the networks of financing, arms trafficking, drug trafficking such as the captagon whose networks lead to families close to the Saudi dictatorship, the facilitators who organize the movement of mercenaries to the combat zones. Like the leaders, most of them are linked, directly or indirectly, to organizations of the Muslim Brotherhood and they have often had higher education in the West. It is in their networks that you find computer scientists, specialists in financial engineering, technicians from various disciplines. Three main reasons generally explain their involvement in these criminal groups: the first is the personal financial profit that they can derive from their clandestine politico-mafia activities, the second to thus gain influence in their politico-religious, business, their clan, to access political or business responsibilities, the third, which concerns only the most indoctrinated, is to respond to the call of Allah who, according to the Koran, orders them to kill " the unfaithful " wherever they are. Many of them are in religious and charitable associations but also in financial and political structures.
It is quite common to find the same individuals on several boards of charitable institutions, such as the Islamic Relief Foundation or the Islamic World League, and financial institutions. Some charitable associations have very large funds and themselves sometimes feed a myriad of other charitable or commercial companies. In some cases, these serve as a front for money laundering and the financing of illegal activities, including terrorism. I give in 56 several cases of these individuals whom the US Treasury Department has found as intermediaries in the financing of terrorist groups and who frequent ministries of Gulf dictatorships such as, for example, the Qatari Ministry of Religious Assets and Islamic Affairs or its Arabian counterpart saudi. If they are identified in the United States or Europe as having been associated with a terrorist group, they often take refuge in the Gulf dictatorships where they believe they are safe. Of course, they are not the ones who wear the explosive vests or launch trucks into the crowd. The latter are recruited from the misery of Arab countries just as those recruited in European cities are mainly recruited from among vulnerable and/or disadvantaged people. The vast majority of mercenaries who come from Arab countries have not had the opportunity to evolve and their behavior is a matter of psychiatry. Wafa Sultan, an American psychiatrist of Syrian origin, addresses this question in her study published under the title « Islam, factory of unbalanced? ". Most "evolved" have been in Koranic schools, that is to say, which are solely dedicated to the complete teaching of the Koran. At best, some of them may have continued their studies in a madrassa, which more or less corresponds to a secondary school. But, the very fact of repeating continuously since their early childhood the same verses of hatred, racism and violence from the same old book has blocked the development of their intellectual faculties.
This state of early indoctrination, conditioning, dependence on beliefs registered by the brain, multiple constraints - food, sexual or other - leads them to the cult of "divine death". They can therefore commit barbaric acts “according to the will of God”. Remember the images of those criminals who, at the beginning of the crime of aggression against Syria, posed in front of the corpses of "heretics" beheaded, burned alive, disembowelled women, young women buried alive after being raped, men and children slaughtered by the hundreds in mass graves or others who ate the hearts and organs of their victims. The amount of their salary paid by terrorist financiers from Qatar, Kuwait or Saudi Arabia varied from 300 to more than 600, even more rarely 1000 euros, depending on the violence of their crimes, the number of killed . This "religious straitjacket", regardless of the nature of the religion, can lead to the worst as evidenced by the crimes of the Catholic Church which began with the Inquisition in 1199 and continued with the wars of religions until at least 1787. Today it is Le Drian who must be held to account for having been one of the main organizers of the trafficking of military equipment and arms for the benefit of criminal groups from which those who strike Europe today are inspired. He should reflect on the fact that his friends François Hollande, Laurent Fabius, Jean-Marc Ayrault, Alain Juppé and Manuel Valls who, with others, dreamed like him of bringing the Syrian Republic and its leaders to their knees are politically dead .
