The French are not mistaken, because I don't want cohabitation either, but a clear majority on the left in the National Assembly. When we see the packages of measures that the right has imposed, there will be work. And what is your opinion? Do not hesitate to give it, the comment module awaits you for this purpose; )
PARIS (Reuters) - The left remains in the lead in voting intentions in the legislative elections despite a slight decline (45%, -1), according to a CSA poll for BFM-TV, RMC and 20 Minutes released on Thursday.
It is ahead of the right, which is also down (32%, -1,5), while the Front National, in third position, is up two points with 14%.
Voting intentions in favor of a candidate from Europe Ecologie-Les Verts (5%, +1) or “another candidate” (5%, +2) are also gaining ground. The modem loses a point to 3%.
These increases are at the expense of the two main political parties, which are falling slightly, while the UMP continues to outstrip the PS (31,5% vs. 30%).
Still according to this survey, a majority of French people (52% against 43%) want a left-wing majority in the National Assembly and therefore no cohabitation.
This wish dominates among the voters of François Hollande, the leader of the Left Front Jean-Luc Mélenchon and the centrist François Bayrou, during the presidential election.
The supporters of a cohabitation are found in priority among the voters of Nicolas Sarkozy (83%) before those of the president of the National Front Marine Le Pen (61%).
Among the motivations for voting, the legislative elections are first experienced as a national election since 56% of voters say they are going to vote “to choose the future National Assembly”. Local issues and the personality of the candidates only come in second place (35%).
This survey was conducted on May 29 and 30, 2012 with a representative national sample of 1006 people aged 18 and over.
