This is not recent news, it dates from November 2010. And we are told that there will be nothing in 2012. But however this program of 5000 bunkers, must now be well advanced. In any case, everything seems to prove them right, even if that won't protect them from any. This is among other things why I took the liberty of passing on the information to you.
Nothing should happen in 2012, fortunately, but the Russians are preparing by building 5000 fallout shelters.
What if they were preparing for the coming solar storms?
The Russian government has decided to launch the construction of 5.000 additional anti-atomic shelters in order to be able to shelter the entire population of Moscow in the event of a nuclear attack or other large-scale disaster. The program is quite tight and rather rushed, with the architects commissioned to design uniform prototypes of shelters that can be deployed quickly. The schedule calls for the plans to be completed by the end of 2012.
Russia is certainly preparing for something.
RT reports that 5000 new fallout shelters will be built in Moscow before the end of 2012. Russian authorities believe the new shelters are urgently needed as the current shelters can only accommodate half the population and are a bit overwhelmed.
Also, there are apparently very few fallout shelters for those living outside of the city center currently.
Officials want the entire population of Moscow to be able to reach a fallout shelter within minutes.
But in our time, when the Cold War is over, why are 5000 atomic shelters urgently needed?

But it's not just Russia that is working hard to build new shelters… A few years ago, the Shanghai Civil Defense Bureau announced the inauguration of an absolutely gigantic underground shelter. It was reported that the shelter covers an area of over 90 square meters and can accommodate up to 000 people. But this giant shelter is not as big as the "Underground Great Wall" which was built during the 200s and 000s. It is estimated that the Underground Great Wall hosts 60 km of tunnels and shelters and can accommodate up to to 70 people. According to reports, it hosts an ammunition warehouse, a hospital, a theater and even a library.
Currently, the United States has 5113 warheads, which represents an 84% drop since the peak in 1967 (31255 warheads).
The Obama administration is working on a treaty between the United States and Russia to allow a maximum of 1550 deployed warheads.
Russia seems to have a different policy than the United States. Building 5000 fallout shelters in a single city is a huge task.
The construction of all these shelters is important for one reason or another…
