BHL Doc 08 05 2019

The show by writer Bernard Henri-Lévy, “Looking for Europe”, will be the subject of a documentary, revealed Le Canard Enchaîné. More than 700.000 euros in subsidies have been given by the major channels, some of which are themselves subsidized by the State, such as Arte, for which BHL is one of the managers!

The European tour to promote the play "Looking for Europe" by Bernard-Henri Lévy will be the subject of a documentary, relates Le Canard Enchaîné.

This will be produced by several channels. Canal Plus, a private channel, contributed 300.000 euros to the project, while the state channels France 3 and Arte went for 230.000 and 200.000 euros respectively.

The problem lies in the fact that BHL himself chairs the supervisory board of Arte.

“One is never so well watched as by oneself!”, concludes the newspaper.

Bernard-Henri Lévy started in Italy the tour of his play “Looking For Europe”, a “battle of civilization”. Milan, his first destination, was not chosen at random given the numerous attacks by BHL against the current Italian government. Attacking local authorities, the writer warned Milanese against nationalism.
