Encounter of the 3rd kind in Perpignan

I saw a report on fireballs or pseudo UFO in Norway, and I can tell you that it was not a joke, on the other hand... what it would be interesting to check is the presence or no military base around... ;)

While on the Internet the testimonies flock to confirm the appearance last Thursday of unidentified flying objects in the Catalan sky, a Canétoise goes further. Supporting photo. 

CANET-EN-ROUSSILLON. The article titled "UFO: those who saw it tell" appeared in the Independent on Wednesday was greeted with some relief by Marinette Lambour. Residing in Canet, this 56-year-old lady contacted the editorial staff yesterday to tell us about her experience. A testimony which confirms, but also completes, those, in particular, of the passengers of the bus who descended at nightfall from Prades to Perpignan.

32 "witnesses"

We thus brought back the collective vision of six people who claimed to have seen Thursday evening "bright balls in the sky" representing graphic shapes. From the bus, but also from Perpignan and even from Lignan-sur-Orb (Hérault), all confirmed the improbable: the appearance of UFOs above our heads. Since then, testimonials have multiplied on the blog ufo66, responsible for listing these phenomena, passing yesterday to 32 without really knowing what credit to give to this information.

Ms. Lambour is not one of them. She contacted us by phone: "I live on the seafront in Canet and since Thursday, every evening, I also see balls flashing and moving above the sea. At first, I believed in planes then in luminous beacons , but their movement, sometimes up, sometimes down and then from left to right convinced me otherwise".

Before the article in the Independent, Marinette had only spoken about it to her son. His reaction was predictable: "He had a good laugh and made fun of me. But it was he who warned me when reading the Independent that other people had also seen funny things". These things, she tried to photograph them with her small digital camera (photo below),

But the result doesn't quite match what she sees from her balcony: "In fact there are two balls, one bigger than the other and once I thought I saw a filament between them". On the other hand, unlike the other witnesses, Marinette has seen these lights every evening since last Thursday: "Except Sunday and it stays there for a very long time. The other time it lasted from 19:15 p.m. to 23 p.m.". Last night, they came back, less lively but still present in front of the Place de la Méditerranée. At the Perpignan airport control tower, there has been no particular activity in recent days in the Catalan sky. The mystery remains intact.
