Why was I born?

Every thinking human being asks himself this question and others like it: Who am I? What am I here for? Are these mysteries? For us perhaps; for God, no. He alone knows exactly who we are and why we are here. He took the trouble to inform us. 
Allow us to tell you briefly what his wondrous Book, the Holy Bible, reveals to us about every human being.

The Bible is truly the Word of God. What distinguishes this book from all the others is the spirituality, the power, the life that is in it. The divine origin of Scripture is proved by its resistance to violent or subtle destructive forces, by its permanence, by its incorruptibility.

No book answers men's questions like the Bible. None produces such effects in their conscience which it enlightens and in their heart which it consoles. 
The Bible is divine revelation given to men so they can know God as he is in holiness and goodness. 
The Bible is the word of the living God. Without it, the human soul dies like the human body deprived of food.

Matthew 4.4.

It is worth reflecting on the value of the Bible in giving the salvation it announces the attention it deserves. This salvation is: Eternal Life in Jesus Christ!
